U.S.
presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain will be returning to Washington on Wednesday to take part in the Senate's vote on a $700 billion financial rescue package. The two urged lawmakers on both sided of the aisle to revive talks on the bill after it was rejected by the House of Representatives on Monday. Both Obama and McCain are calling for the extension of deposit insurance for US families and small businesses to a quarter of a million dollars to persuade more lawmakers to back the Wall Street bailout.
