Austria faces difficult talks after Sunday's snap general election that saw far-right parties as the big winners.
The Social Democrats remain the strongest party in Austria despite big losses. Its head, Werner Faymann, said he would seek to form a coalition with his junior partner up till now, the conservative People's Party. Media sources in Vienna have reported that there is resistance within the People's Party to continue ruling with the Social Democrats.
