Austria's Social Democrats are projected to have won the country's national elections.
Austria's national broadcaster has estimated that the Social Democrats won just under 29 percent of the vote compared to about 25 percent for the conservative People's Party. If confirmed, it would be the worst results ever for the two main centrist parties, which have governed together in a grand-coalition since 2006. In line with analysts' expectations, two far right parties made strong gains.
