The most exciting was Werder Bremen's 5:4 win over Hoffenheim, which last season was in the second division. Hamburg is leading the table after an unimpressive 1:0 victory over Moenchengladbach. Leverkusen is in second, they beat Bochum 3:2. Defending Champions Bayern Munich lost again, this time to Hanover, 1:0. In other matches Dortmund beat Stuttgart 3:0 and Cottbus defeated Berlin 1:0.
