Testing of Chinese food imports has increased in many countries as a widening tainted milk scandal fuels fears that compromised ingredients may have contaminated other foods.
A list of 28 products that may contain tainted Chinese milk, including Oreo cookies, Snickers bars and MЯamp;M chocolate candies, is being distributed. Milk products contaminated with the industrial chemical melamine have sickened some 54,000 Chinese babies and are blamed for the deaths of four infants.
