European elections, in which the KSCM received six mandates.The Communists also bet on former Czechoslovak cosmonaut Remek as he is a well-known and popular personality, Dolejs said.Mastalka is the party deputy chairman for foreign and European affairs.Current MEPs Jaromir Kohlicek and Vera Flasarova are in the fourth and fifth places of the ticket, Dolejs.The sixth Communist MEP Daniel Stroz does not run this time.The candidates also include Katerina Konecna, a Communist member of the Chamber of Deputies.The elections to the European Parliament are scheduled for next June.
