Voters in Angola are going to the polls in the country's first parliamentary elections in 16 years.
This is being seen as a test for the southern, oil-rich African country, which ended a nearly three decades long civil war six years ago. The MPLA party of President Jose Eduardo dos Santos is expected to retain control of the 220-seat parliament. The main challenger is the opposition UNITA which has accused the MPLA of voter intimidation in the run-up to the polls.
