On Thursday, Cheney met with Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili in Tblisi, where he stressed the need to resolve the status of Georgia's two separatist regions. Meanwhile the OSCE says military observers have now entered a Russian buffer zone inside Georgia for the time since last month's five-day war between the two countries.
