US Vice President Dick Cheney meets with Ukraine's leaders on Friday to discuss NATO and energy issues.
The visit comes amid a domestic power struggle that could see the pro-Western President Viktor Yushchenko call snap elections before November if it's not resolved. Ukraine is Cheney's final stop of a three-day tour of the region aimed to shore up support for US allies following last month's military conflict between Georgia and Russia.
