A passenger plane has crashed at the airport of Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek.
Reports of deaths and survivors are unclear at the moment. Prime Minister Igor Chudinov says that 20 survived the crash, having revived the emergencies minister's number of 25. A government spokesman said 71 people were killed in the disaster and said 90 passengers and crew were on board. The Boeing 737, operated by Itek Air, apparently crashed after takeoff and was bound for the Iranian city of Mashhad. Itek Air is blacklisted from European airspace because of fears of safety concerns.
