Deutsche Telekom CEO Vows Tough Action on Spying Scandal ... demonstrators attended a rally in the city of Srinagar, carrying banners with the word "azadi" or freedom, and chanting anti-Indian slogans. Separatist leader Shabir Shah said Kashmiris wanted to show the world that they want to split from India. The rally ended peacefully but clashes between protestors and security forces in the Muslim-dominated Kashmir valley have led to the deaths of 23 people over the past two weeks.
