It is believed that Slouf lobbied for the re-election of President Vaclav Klaus at variance with the CSSD's recommendation and that the meeting considerably influenced the outcome of the election, in favour of Klaus.
Slouf now faces expulsion from the party for this.
A former policeman has been recently accused in the case.
Stepanka Zenklova, spokeswoman for the Prague City State Attorney's Office, told CTK that the police had accused the former member of the civilian intelligence service (UZSI) of abuse of public office and mishandling of personal data.
If convicted he would face up to five years in prison, Zenklova said.

Previously she said that the policeman accused in the case illegally obtained the recording of the meeting that took place in Prague's Savoy hotel from the hotel management and handed it to the third person that gave it to the media.
The media said earlier that former UZSI member Petr Bakes and former policeman Jiri Dvorak are involved in the case.
According to information CTK has obtained, Bakes asked Dvorak to secure the recording at the request of former UZSI director Karel Randak.
Speculations have appeared in the media and in the political circles that Weigl could discuss with Slouf the possibilities for obtaining MPs' votes for Klaus, who was the official presidential candidate of the senior ruling Civic Democrats (ODS), among the Social Democrats.
In the presidential election the CSSD supported the candidacy of liberal economist Jan Svejnar against Klaus.
The media said the publishing of the recording could have influenced the decision of the junior government Green Party (SZ) to support the open vote of the president by parliament.
Slouf said previously that although he did meet Weigl the presidential election was not the main topic of their discussion.
According to the Personal Data Protection Office, Savoy violated the law on personal data protection by recording the meeting by its cameras.
