Deutsche Telekom accused of spying on own exectutives ... to the east of the Algerian capital, Algiers, has killed 43 people and injured a further 38, the interior ministry has said.
The attack took place at a paramilitary police training school at Issers, about 60km (40 miles) east of the capital, the ministry said.
News reports described the attack as a suicide bombing.
In recent months Algeria has suffered regular attacks blamed on Islamist militants linked to al-Qaeda.
Most recently a suicide bomb at a beach resort killed eight people on 10 August.
In December two consecutive bombings in Algiers - including one on the UN offices - killed at least 37 people.
