Test to confirm identity of last of Czech train accident victims ... detectives, the both employees, responsible for the bridge construction, knew about the damage to the repaired bridge's structure two days prior to the accident. However, they did not interrupt construction works that eventually led to the tragedy. "We definitely do not feel guilty in the sense of the police accusation," the men said in their joint statement for CTK. They claim that the components which according to the police caused the accident and proved their guilt were no longer in the supportive structure of the bridge at the time of the collision, because they were replaced two days before it. "A day ahead of the event, the structure was secured and it was stable. This is why we do not admit having committed any mistake," the accused men said, adding they are convinced they did not cause the accident.
