The Sri Lankan military says its troops have captured a massive rebel training base in the country's northern war zone.
An army spokesman said that the Tamil Tiger base at Andankulam consisted of bunkers, lecture halls, training grounds and a cemetary for fallen rebels. The military also said that about 50 rebels and seven soldiers had been killed in clashes over the weekend.
