Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has broken the men's 100-metre world record, to clinch Olympic Gold in 9.69 seconds.
His former world record was 9.72 seconds. The 21-year-old won his country's first Olympic title, ahead of Richard Thompson of Trinidad and Tobago and Walter Dix of the United States.
