15.08.2008 - Slovak rescuers find dead Polish tourist in High Tatras
The man got lost on Tuesday.
The rescuers are also looking for a Czech tourist.
"We have found the body and the wife of the Polish tourists has come to Slovakia," Janiga said.
Twelve rescuers searched for the 34-year-old man today though they assessed his chance for survival as very small.
Polish tourists frequently become victims in the Tatras.
This year at least four Polish tourists died in the mountains.
Janiga said that the search for the Czech tourists began after his wife reported that he failed to return home from the Tatras by train as he intended.
However, the rescuers have not said in which region the 63-year-old tourist has been last seen.
Sniffer dogs are used in his search.
