Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has said he will not receive a fair trial at the UN war crimes tribunal because media all over the world have already branded him a war criminal.
In a written submission to the tribunal, Karadzic also said he had made an immunity deal with US peace mediator Richard Holbrooke in 1996. He said that Holbrooke had offered him immunity from the tribunal if he disappeared from public life. Holbrooke has denied the claims.
