Zimbabwe's opposition leader Morgan Tsvagirai has said he is pleased with the state of compromise talks to form a unity government.
The negotiations with representatives of President Robert Mugabe's party are set to continue this weekend after coming to a standstill earlier this week. The hold-up means an outcome is unlikely to be reached by next Monday, however Tsvingarai indicated that this deadline could be flexible. A key sticking point has been agreeing on who should have most power, with both sides' leaders claiming democratic legitimacy from this year's flawed elections.
