Burnell is also suspected of making and possessing child pornography and other criminal offences. The perpetrator was caught in cooperation with Interpol in July on the basis of a European arrest warrant. He allegedly stayed in the Czech Republic for two years and was just preparing to leave the country. According to the police he lived in Prague, was inconspicuous and almost did not leave the house. The police believe that Burnell did not commit any crime in the Czech Republic.
