US officials say a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Southern California on Tuesday has caused little damage and no injuries.
The quake which struck at 11:42 am local time was felt from Los Angeles to San Diego. The United States Geological Survey said the tremor's epicentre was 50 kilometres east of Los Angeles at a depth of 12 kilometers.
