Ministers from 35 key nations have started world trade talks in Geneva.
The meeting in Switzerland is aimed at reviving the stalled Doha round launched in 2001. The WTO talks in Geneva are centred on resolving an impasse over barriers to trade in industrial and agricultural goods on world markets. Some large developing countries are calling on industrialized countries to cut tariffs on agricultural produce.
