European Union chief diplomat Javier Solana says Iran has given no clear response to an incentives package in exchange for stopping its nuclear enrichment activities.

EU's Solana visits Afghanistan ... between cooperation and confrontation. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack gave Tehran two weeks to give a clear answer. Iran has repeatedly said it will not give up its enrichment activities. Western countries suspect that Iran is secretly trying to develop nuclear weapons, while Iran insists that its nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes only.
