The Soviet authorities didn't think about relocation to one place and this meant a real danger of disintegration of the Czech community.

Havel not invited to Czech presidential election - press ... a possibility to move several hundreds of families from the contaminated area to the Czechoslovakia. The letter with these appeals was handed over to the new Czechoslovak president Václav Havel during his visit of the Soviet Union in February 1990. The reaction of the new Czechoslovak Government to these appeals was positive. Several families were moved to KuÅ™ivody, which is a community in a former military area of Ralsko. The other families got the houses in Rokytnice after the soviet soldiers, two families moved to ZlÃn, into the BaÅ¥a's houses, next twelve families got the new houses in Butoves, that was designated for the soviet so ldiers.
