Earlier on Thursday Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah called a recent crackdown on its activities by the Lebanese government a declaration of war. Lebanon, which has been without a head of state for five months because of the internal power struggle between Prime Minister Fouad Siniora's government and the pro-Syrian opposition, is experiencing its worst political crisis since the civil war.
