Hajek's post will be assumed by Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek' aide Radim Ochvat, they added.

Tyden.cz said the replacement should make the department work in a more flexible fashion.
Under the Communist regime, Hajek worked in the magazine Kvety (Flowers) and after its fall he helped establish the weekly Reflex.
He has worked alongside Klaus since the 1990s when he was involved in the election campaign of Klaus's Civic Democratic Party (ODS).
