The Charity has set aside some 125,000 crowns for immediate needs.
On Monday, a collection for the purpose was launched by the People in Need.

Money can be sent to the account 22770022/0800 to the Charity of the Czech Republic or to SOS Barma 836836836/0300 from the People in Need.
Money to the People in Need can also be sent through the sms in the form of DMS BARMA to the number 87777.
The Czech Foreign Ministry has donated 2.5 million crowns in support of aid to Burma.
At first, the Charity wants to focus on emergency aid such as drinking water, basic food, makeshift shelter and equipment to remove the debris, Oulik said.
"The attitude of the Burmese junta to international humanitarian aid has been reserved, but it has said it will accept help from big international organisations," Oulik said, adding that the Charity of the Czech Republic was in the international charity network accepted by Burma.
