The Israeli army has announced a three-day security lockdown on the occupied West Bank ahead of the Jewish state's 60th anniversary celebrations.
Israel marks its Remembrance Day for soldiers killed in conflicts on Wednesday, which is followed a day later by the 60th Independence Day celebrations. The Israeli army said in a statement that the closure would end midnight on Thursday in accordance with a security assessment.
